was a terrifying ride and a terrible crime. And you're about to see it happen.

Toronto Police have released a two minute video that shows a shocking carjacking in progress.

It began Saturday night when a driver in an expensive Mercedes convertible was forced off the road by two other cars and wound up having to drive onto the down ramp and into the isolated underground parking area of the Air Canada Centre.

The people in the other cars got out and began assaulting those inside their chosen target. One escaped with just a beating.

The other wasn't quite as lucky, suffering an assault and an abduction, forced back into the vehicle he'd just been bodily removed from and driven all the way to Highway 409 near Pearson International Airport. He was unceremoniously dumped by the side of the road as his attackers took off into the night and disappeared.

The security video shows four men forcing the occupants out of the car in the garage, although what happens to them after that isn't pictured. The suspects are seen inspecting the vehicle for several minutes, apparently scouring it for valuables, before one of them finally gets in and drives it away.

Now cops want to find the stars of this closed circuit show.

The video doesn't always clearly show their faces, but there should be enough to allow those who know them to I.D. them.

The video is the best clue but it's not the only one. The stolen car is a black Mercedes CLK 430 with a light gray interior and licence plate #AYNY 371.

It seems they stole a range and bmw too

Good thing Canada has all the gun laws and stuff. Otherwise the occupants of the car might of been armed and been able to shoot the scum doing the car jacking. phew....

carjacking sucks ...thats why i never want ot buy expensive cars ..

They probably blocked the path of his car as it was moving , while it was till unclear that a car jacking was happening. The driver most likely drove along for a short ways avoiding colliding with the other vehicles and avoided going off the road until the perpetrators confronted the victims. Was that not clear from the context of the story?

All I have to say is either that guy is a bad driver or he knew the people (owed them something) and didn't want to exacerbate the problem.

He's in a fast car, no way they would have been able to pull that shit while moving whether they blocked his path or not.
