Man the gass price is sad.

It's gone up here everyday for a week.:( We now are at $3.75 here. I bet it will be over $5 this summer. How crazy is the gas where you are? IMO the government is making more than there share of $$.

:Oh crap:Oh crap:Oh crap

I'm sure here in the good old USA they will drop it for a week or so in the summer and tell us they're doing it so family's can go on vacation or something like that.

:Oh crap

well if we had descent public transportation in this country, it might help. but no, the local buses here make their last run at 6 pm.

Once again no it is not "considering".
We do not have public transportation unless you live in a major city and then it is still limited. (our trains a joke, cabs can be ok, busses suck real bad, boats nope).
Then please consider the distance between our cities/towns and major ports/farms.
Average lowest wages in your country?
Whats your tax rates after you cut out percentages for healthcare, higher learning, and such.

Correct me if i am wrong though, but those are still seperate issues.
We are talking about gas prices. And we pay double what you guys pay.

Our cost of living here is getting out of control in recent months. Everything is going up to the point where people are struggling to pay their bills.

You think our public transport is good ?? Think again. It sucks, and is getting worse. Regardless of what the government is telling us.

So although i hear what you are saying about other things which affect the average American, the price we pay for gas here (more than double) is crippling people, and putting many out of business...

Our buses here stop at 7pm which I guess is ok. Though to get from my street to downtown the route will take you one hour and thirty five minutes if on schedule, despite it being a 10 minute drive by car. If by chance you live a little more outside of downtown routes can take up to two and a half hours each way, with an hour or more waiting for a transfer at a bus pole (no shelter).

Oh they technically start at 6am but thats at the main transfer facility. No bus would reach my area until 7am.

Mr Pheer 05-14-2008 01:31 PM

I fill my truck up about once every three or four weeks and its been costing like $80 each time.

Vick! 05-14-2008 01:37 PM

Rochard 05-14-2008 02:40 PM

The higher the cost of gas goes, the less idiots on the road.

roly 05-14-2008 02:46 PM
