Probably trying to fish for us to register these domains.....



Dear Principal,

We are a domain name registrar centre in HongKong.and in charge of the registeration in Asia,We have something important need to confirm through your company.
We received a formal application from a company called "Li-Huo International Holdings Ltd" applying to register
the domain names:

kinkypornpass.cn

And internet trademark keyword:
kinkypornpass

in China and also in Asia on May. 12. 2008.

During our auditing procedure we find out that the alleged "Li-Huo International Holdings Ltd" has no trade mark,Intellectual property, nor patent even similar to that word. As authorized anti-cybersquatting organization we hereby suspect the alleged "Li-Huo International Holdings Ltd" to be a domain grabber.Hence we need you confirmation for whether this alleged "Li-Huo International Holdings Ltd" is your business partner or distributor in China.

If you are not in charge of this please transfer this email to appropriate dept.in order to deal with this issue better, please let someone who is responsible for trademark or domain name contact me as soon as possible.

Thanks for your prompt reply. If you have no relationship with them. According to our working experience, there are 2 possibilities:
1. Li-Huo company is a domain name investment company, they want to register these names before you and sell back to you to gain profits.
2. It may be a commercial method, Li-Huo company is consigned by your competitor to register, make your clients confused.

Because domain name takes open registration,Who register the domain name first, who will be the owner.this is international domain name registration principle. According to the rule,Li-Huo company has right to register these domain names.As a domain name registration organization, we have no right to refuse their application. So required by China government to inform your company to protect your interest.

If you don't think their application will affect your company, you can give up, we will finish their registration.

I got it and replied from a random email address to see wtf was up, hence thanks for the prompt reply line.

I feel sorry for anyone dealing with a shoddy knockoff of me. The original is hard enough to deal with.
