Well, it will open up a lot of new potential customers, but when you consider that the average annual income in China is around $1200 a year, I don't know how much they will be buying.

That wont happen in our lifetime probably. Also they are the piracy kings of the world. So no thanks.

New way's to monetize will have to come with it. I doubt some middle class guy in China is gonna spend 10% of his paycheck on a porn site.

isn't china the biggest dvd piracy country around? soon as it becomes legal they will just get it off tubes and torrents...on top of that most of them will proly just rip sites and start their own...i'm sure they will also get into the content production end too...seeing as they aren't the best as far as human rights goes there will be horrible working conditions for the women, tons of underage shoots on and on.....

Almost nothing is actually blocked in China...Certainly none of the newer sites.

Yeah I doubt it as well but I was having a what if moment while I was reading about the number of people online in China.
