Wordpress them not refreshing with the rest of the blog? What's going on here?
Ok, so I've recently moved to a new server, and I'm having a little fuck up on some of my wordpress blogs. When I goto in to edit my theme and add links to it, they onyl show up on the index page for a little while and then it wipes back to the old theme, however the links stay up on the backpages. so if i goto page 2, or a post page, or anything like that, the updates to the menus are now noticeable. has anybody ever encountered anything like this before? Could it be a permissions problem? My support guy isn't sure what could be causing it, but is looking into it, I figured I'd ask here and see if anyone knows. :helpme

sounds like some sort of server cache fucking up
I had a BITCH of time on a few installs a couple of weeks ago, nothing would work right at first, then I wait 10 minutes and it appeared to this day I can go into the blog and see the akismet plugin, and i deleted that as the FIRST step in the install, 2 weeks ago |
ya, i had some dir restriction changed for me recently and i'm not 100% sure that they are at fault, but i didn't notice the problems occuring until shortly afterwards, i have my techsupport guy looking into it, but i have no clue otherwise. it seems like ever a couple years in, and hundreds of wordpress installs on multiple servers later i still encounter new problems, hah. just seems weird to me that all the pages show the new theme, other than the index itself...
