Yep...Iron Man was worth it....Robert Downey was impeccable.

I thought that Robert Downey Jr. would look kind of gay playing ironman but he was a perfect fit....Plus, it wasn't like he had to actually fly around in that suit....

The only superhero that has to actually work in the suit is Batman and to a very small degree, Superman....The Hulk, Spiderman, and Ironman is all cgi and doesn't even need anything from the actor besides the voice....

I'd say that's a sweet acting gig.....And it ISN'T worth it to wait until after the credits....Just find it on youtube.

Looks like a pretty cool flick

Movie was good, but that last fight scene was gay.
The aerial dogfight was incredible though

Yeah, the part after the 10 minutes of credits is only 30 seconds long... disappointing.

i have heard nothing but good things about this movie. I have to admit I have trouble envisioning robert downey jr. in this role, but i definitely need to see it soon.

Even in horrible movies, Robert Downey Jr. is fucking great. This is a great movie, relying heavily on him, that he has a great performance in. Highly recommended.

Bojangles 05-11-2008 12:50 AM

My friend said it was great. I'll probably see it soon.

I just got home from seeing it. I liked it. Robert Downey Jr. was great in it, but I thought Jeff Bridges was great, too.

This movie was every bit as well done as Spider Man. And remembering other Marvel movies, its clear that they aren't always this solid. Fantastic Four, anyone? (shudders)

considering how many product placements were in that movie i was shocked that he didn't ask for a whopper instead of "an american hamburger"

I think he asked for a cheeseburger!
The move was fuckin' great, 10/10.

I watched the movie and i was surprised.
Nice movie!

markz08 05-11-2008 06:27 AM

It is indeed a nice movie...like Robert Downey...I like the action and funny part of the movie...especially the "cheese burger" thing...:D

Drake 05-11-2008 06:29 AM

I'm going to have to see it. I've heard nothing but good reviews. It's hard for me to see Downey Jr. in this type of role but apparently it worked out well.

Slick 05-11-2008 07:17 AM

I agree with everyone else, Robert Downy Jr. did a wonderful job, he fit the role perfectly. I can't wait until 2010 to see Iron Man 2, ha ha :)

Scott McD 05-11-2008 07:29 AM

Cool, wasn't too sure about it, but gonna go check it out some time during the week now !! :thumbsup

justinsain 05-11-2008 07:46 AM

Haven't seen it yet but plan to.

I have this problem that when I see Robert Downey Jr.
it always makes me think of him as the person in " Less Than Zero " and
then I have to spend time chasing sad thoughts out of my head :(

gideongallery 05-11-2008 08:03 AM

the best scene in the movie was when tony asked pepper to fish out the old power source out of his chest
the banter was great
