Think he's been playing with the bbq haha, how the hell do I wash him without too much struggling on his behalf? :helpme

Easy... Wipe some melted butter on the front of his legs and on his chest just under his chin...

He will then go on a mad washing spree to get rid of the butter and clean himself completly of BBQ dirt at the same time...

You will have no problems cleaning your sweet, loveable kitty cat when you are dressed like this -

Cats clean themselves.

You don't need to wash him... he's a cat... he'll wash himself :)

If you want to get some of the grit knocked off of him so he doesn't clean himself and get nasty charcoal bits in his belly, they make Pet Wipes which are like wet wipes. Just wipe him down with some of those. Do not use wet wipes though as the checmicals in those could be harmful.

I trained my cats to like water. I can now wash them anytime I want, they even jump in the shower with me.

Here is how you train them to like water: Put their food in the bathtub, and fill the tub with 1/8 inch of water (really small). They HAVE to step in the water to eat. They will whine and moan for 2 hours, but eventually they will eat.

Next day, fill the tub with one inch of water. Put their food in the middle. 6 days later, you have 6 inches of water, and they MUST go into it to eat. At this point, you will need to make a stand of some kind to hold the food dish secure since it is now in 6 inches of water, but they will eventually figure out that water is NOT lava, and they won't care.

I can now shampoo my cats anytime and they are ok with it. They sit in the puddles of water in the shower and barely blink.
