i've been saying this forever now.

google.com reference.com and wikipedia.org will answer whatever question i have within minutes. almost flawlessy every time. they're great tools. i spend the majority of my time on my desktop box, but i keep an old lappy under my coffee table just so i can google random shit when i get into arguments with buddies or see random interesting crap on tv i want to look up.

there's really nothing you can't figure out in a matter of minutes in you know how to search things properly and know where to look for them...

i had this chick friend writing an open book exam for some environmental conservation course she was taking at college im me one day to ask me if i new some random shit. googled it and had the answer back to her in minutes. i ended up answering a pile of her questions on her exam for her with wikipedia as i updated my blogs. she's works for parks & forrestry now, hah...

I don't know about becoming an expert, but you can learn some very broad or precise information about virtually any subject with ease.

CaptainWolfy 05-10-2008 08:32 AM

Thanks for the info smart ass. Now tell us, what source of information is 100% reliable? :error

I'd say wikipedia is 90% reliable, and there is no other resource which is anywhere close to this number. So, wikipedia simply rocks.

An expert team studied the revelance of britanica, encarta and wikipedia.

Wikipedia ended up having the less mistakes in the listings... pretty impressive.

Wiki lets you know when some of their info is doubtful or not backed up by reliable sources. Wiki is probably the best source for information on the net. I don't understand why there aren't more sites like it.

scottybuzz 05-10-2008 02:35 PM

i have to agree 100%

3 favourite sites
google
wikipedia and
imdb

although you can pretty much find the info on imdb on wikipedia now lol
