Flash supports DRM, H.264, is cross platform and provides a much better playback experience. What's with all the Windows only VOD sites? I've heard stats that Mac represents 30% of the market share and rising. 30% seems like a pretty large chunk of your customers to tell them they can't buy from you.

Not mention there will be reluctance in Using flash. It has to prove itself security wise. I am sure it will pass security wise but that remains to be seen.

Mac isn't even 10% of the market. Unless nearly 100% of epoel buyingcomputer over the alst 3 years bought mac there is no way they could be 30% of the market. Fuck macs. If they want porn get a PC. It just works.

here's tip about flash. download real payer 11 it plays flash movies. There's Mac version. NOT sure about the Mac version but with the PC version you can actually download flash files to your computer pretty easily. And not just flash vids on tube sites. I was quite amazed when I used a 30 minute free trial to a VOD site and when watching the Real Player version of their movies and could record the movies for later playback.

I think the only guys that could feasibly pull it off quickly since its all done already is Matrix Content.

Mac users are almost 20% of the base and are a great deal of the firefox users. They statistically make more money, live in higher middle class income areas, they like to spend money to, and most are educated - credit card holders..... and you CAN target them.

So saying fuck Mac is turning down easy to target money holes.
