Yeah, it was sixty years ago. But we still feel the effects of this war every day.

On my mother's side, my grandmother lost her entire family in Poland when the Nazis invaded. On my father's side, my grandfather was killed in the South Pacific as a US Marine. My step father's brother was also killed in France from the fighting.

So much of our history goes right back to WWII - Korea, the Cold War, the crap we have today in the Middle East, Israel.....
