For the last few months, we've heard you whispering in dark corners of the internet. We've heard the hushed tones you've used in your favorite watering holes. We've heard your back alley mutterings. So, we thought it needed to be said loud and clear - AC/DC's got a new album on the way.

The boys have been holed up in a Vancouver studio with producer Brendan O'Brien and longtime audio engineer Mike Fraser, cooking up their first collection of new material since the 2000 release of Stiff Upper Lip.

Fans can expect the new album sometime later this year. We know it's not an easy wait, but you don't have to sit there twiddling your thumbs.


They are old but STILL ROCKIN!!!!

I grew up on ACDC, Aerosmith, Ozzy and Priest, but I wish they would roll over and fucking die already.

New stuff from old band = suck(usually)

I love AC/DC as much as the next guy but seriously tough upper lip SUCKED (yes I bought it on release day and even went to a concert on that tour)

Heh, I was just listening to "Hard as a rock".
I need to see them live before they retire, which should not be too far away now.

the BACK in BLACK album was the first album after the lead mans death and of course that is when they really got big....

Bon Scott, their orginal singer, died in the late 70s. Brian Johnson has been with them ever since. :2 cents:

they're "retired" several times :)

Ah, I thought that guy died too.

As far as i know they never made an official announcement.

Sweeeet. Can't wait til they go on tour.
