I'll wait. It was supposed to be released April 26th, it's only a bit over a week late, but, no.. I don't think so.

installed it no problems seems alittle more peppy.

I've had problem..... couldn't find my profile the first restart. Second time restarting now IE doesn't work (Not that I use it for anything other then windows updates, and to check my HTML for compatibility)......

BTW - It's my Sony Vaio that's having the problems. My XP only machine worked fine.

They can keep it. My shit is running tight right now, I'm sure sp3 would fuck everything up.

3rd restart, and everything SEEMS fine right now. IE connecting..... we'll see.

A note before installing I shut everything off.

Yeah, I did too, but that didn't seem to help when I've got so much protection (Spybot teatimer and ThreatFire) coming on when I restarted. I allowed the changes it flagged after the restart, but it looked like it needed the 3rd restart to set them in stone.

Try turning off any system protection completely (don't let them startup on the restart) before updating, so when the restart does some more updating your protection programs don't ask for permission for those windows commands to run.
