But I do toss everything in the blue box that's fit to go in there. Has nothing to do with being obsessed, it's just the right thing to do. You're going to throw that shit out anyway, what's the difference if it goes in the garbage or the recycle box?

I use to back in Montreal, now in Costa Rica we just started where i live to recycle paper and cardboards... soon i hope to do cans and glass.

I've been a huge recycler for about 20 yrs now. I recycle more than I throw away. lol

i think the city does it or the place that i live in does it for us. i don't do it myself personally (separate recycables from trash), i just throw it all in the trash. i'm pretty sure my building does it for us tho.

Your building goes through your garbage to find recyclables? Why would they do that? Also, I can see that being a huge privacy concern.

I recycle bottles and cans and I typically save glass jars... I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do with them, LOL, but I usually keep them.

Yep. Glass, cans, plastic, cardboard and paper.
