Letterman has a younger audience,younger audiences buy more shit so Lettermans advertisments probably cost more thus making his wallets quite fat

Are you sure Letterman has a younger audience? This is CBS he's on...

Part of the reason Leno does so well is that he's on NBC, which does better in general than CBS. Which gives him good lead-ins. NBC has a younger demographic than CBS, and the lead-ins obviously bring a lot of the viewers.

Conan probably only has 1/3 the viewers of Leno but still gets 8mil a year

Maybe Leno has a longer contract and makes more in the long run...who knows, but Conan kills em all! :thumbsup

Dave use to be the man...then he sold out to that 11:30 audience...
no fucking shit...I remember visiting my grandfather and grandmother...staunchly republican and all of a sudden they were big Letterman fans...I knew it was time to move on.

Conan is that cutting edge in late night t.v. that Dave use to be.
