GTA 4 Review Anyone?
 

Anyone played grand theft auto 4 yet? I just bought it. Let me know what y'all think if you played it.

In a word.. it's amazing.

to much video to little game play got bored with it after twenty minutes of video and 5 minutes of actually play returning it tomorrow

It's ok but the lock-up problems on the Xbox 360 are frustrating. If you haven't gotten it already hold off until they release a patch.

bought it yesterday for xbox 360... seems pretty cool.

the shooting action is amazing, its very life like. it reminds me of that movie HEAT

it's fun. Xbox 360 online play is pure chaos.

Game's kicking ass so far on my 360. Have not had a hint of any problems like freezing or anything.

Got it on the release day for PS3. Multiplayer has had its problems but it's better now and it's so much fun. The single player mode is awesome great graphics, nice cars,bikes boats etc... My only complaint is that I'm spending too much freaking time playing it instead of working :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

That's exactly why I can't buy it. I don't trust myself to get anything done. I already waste hours fucking around on the internet.

Got it Midnite release...have played about 4 hours..froze one time when I was fucking around back and forth with the map otherwise OK. I like it..OK I really like it

mediocre at best, definitely not worth all the hype but it's ok if you're into that kind of thing. it hasn't peeled me away from CoD4 at all.

Single player is awesome.. Multiplayer leaves a lot to be desired.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Mine is still in the plastic. I was gonna play it last night but I fucked around online attempting to unsuccessfully get something accomplished. I'll be testing it out tonight for sure though!

Most impressive game I've seen so far. But with GTA games you love them for awhile then don't play them for ages, whereas I've been playing Counter-Strike 1.6 for about 3 years and still play regularly, same with Quake 3. Nothing beats competitive online gaming.

Got it on the release date . TOTALLY LOVE IT !

Yes you can skip the video story by pressing X. the game tells you what is your mission anyway. It's just there to put you in context...

The PS3 got hit the hardest but some Xbox 360 systems are experiencing random lock-ups. Sadly I'm one of those people. This has hit the gaming boards and Rock Star has acknowledged it's a legit problem that they are working on.

There seems to be a lot of people who don't have the problem so it seems like a crap shoot if it will choke on your system or not.

I bought the game for my PS3, took awhile to load game info onto the hard drive, after that it was well worth the wait. Have yet to play online, probably will give that a try tonight. Definitely worth getting. :2 cents:

The game is awesome. I've completed about 36% so far.
