RedBull Air Races in San Diego! Anyone go? [PICS]
 

We have the RedBull Air Races here in San Diego this weekend. Super cool event down in the bay. Today was just qualifying, tomorrow they have the finals. Did anyone here in San Diego go check them out. Lot of people down there. Plenty of photographers there as well. Here are some of the pictures I took. If they come to your town check it out.

I really wanted to go this year. The Extra 300S is one of my favorite planes to fly.

if there was ever a sport that was capable of generating a newspaper headline like

"At least 257 spectators were killed today...."

this one is it.

Nice shots, as a photo tip if you can get your shutter speed slower than 1/200th of a second, it won't stop their propeller and you get nice blurred prop, too fast and the stopped prop takes a little something from the shot.

But great work.

I would Love Love Love to go to that!!

I did see them in Switzerland.

Great show. just the location was boring --- just over an airfield
would love to see them again but at a better location
