Anybody promote poker/casino sites?

Couple of questions:

1) On average do you think you make more on 'Real Money Player' (RMP) one-off payments (the equivalent of PPS in adult) or on taking 20% generated from referred players (equivalent of revshare in adult). If you get a big time gambler who bets large regularily, revshare would be good. But that's probably unlikely, so I'd go with PPS. Your thoughts/experience?

2) Online gambling sites cannot operate out of the US, but is it ok to be an affiliate and promote gambling sites for commissions if you live in the US?

Any info appreciated. tks in advance.

I used to mainly promote sportsbooks, but I also pushed the casino and poker aspects a bit.

1) Always take the revshare. It doesn't matter if the person is not a high roller. A degenerate gambler will let his house go into foreclosure before he takes himself out of the action. You can find degenerates that will grind you out a good profit for a long time. They won't quit until they are broke, in prison, or dead.

2) You are really playing with fire on this one, and it is one of the reasons I quit promoting. A ton of US based handicappers still promote sportsbooks, but I have heard of some big players in that indistry, like Phil Steele, get harassed by the US government...

Why dont you try co-branded casino sponsors

Here is one that lets you co- brand. I dont know if you guys in the USA can promote them or if you can access the site http://unitedpartnerprogram.com/index.html

i was, major problem is they are a target for everyone...ex. one major sponsor that i was promoting was target for domain trolls still are, shut down reopened, there are really only a handful of very strong programs with the proper support

I would venture to guess it would definitely be a problem if the casino took bets from Americans.

If the casino has banned US players, then maybe there is a different angle to look at this from. An affiliate of course doesn't opperate a casino, and they wouldn't be helping Americans to bet. So who knows.

It does actually say on the website link I posted above

"PLEASE NOTE: Our sites do not accept new Real Money players from the U.S. due to the unclear legal conditions in that territory. Please keep this in mind when considering your marketing strategies."
