PITTSBURGH - A couple of newlyweds spent the night in jail in separate cells - she in her wedding gown - after a brawl at a local hotel, police say.

Dentist David Wielechowski, 32, of Shaler, Pa., and Christa Vattimo, 25, actually got married a month earlier in the Bahamas. But they decided to repeat their vows last Saturday at a reception for 150 guests.

Police said they were checking into their room when an argument began. Wielechowski reportedly knocked Vattimo to the floor with a karate kick. But when two guests from another wedding party came to her aid, Vattimo turned on them.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. ? A U.S. bride and groom arrested at their wedding reception after the bride trashed a set of conga drums in a spat with the band have pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.

The bride was also accused of breaking a speaker in a dispute over the music at the April 5 reception in the U.S. state of New York.

Fabiana Reyes has been sentenced in Village Court to the six days she already spent in jail.

The 41-year-old also paid the band $1,500 for the damage.

Her 42-year-old husband and their 21-year-old daughter were accused of interfering with Reyes? arrest.

The daughter says the couple were legally married in 1986 but delayed their church wedding until last month
