Penny Flame and I at XRCO Awards tonight - thanks to Bad Dod and Just Dave
 

I had the best time ever at the XRCO Awards Show.

Penny Lane is the BEST!

I want to thank my main man Bad Dog for taking all the amazing stills that will be posted later

I also want to thank Percy for shooting video, and most importantly Just Dave for lending us his camcorder and hooking us up with the club.

Yea, its 315am and i just got home.. Alive!!


After driving Porno Dan home i then drove Penny Flame home.. The beautiful miss Flame passes out in my front seat while giving me directions to her place.. I cant wake her and dont know where she lives..


I call Derick Pierce who knows where Penny lives. he meets me me at the corner of Laurel Canyon and Ventura to picks her up and takes her home. It took about 45 minutes extra.. Thats cool..


Finally i head home on the 405 north bound, so Tired.. Then I see that The cops with 16+ squad cars block off the whole freeway to a stand still. I then look and see a motorcycle down an body in the middle of the road convalsing. I Then notice the whole freeway road way starts to block up behind me. I look ahead and see paramedics working on this guy.


My car is in park and a cop walks up and tells me a bed liner was in the fast lane and this guy on a motorcycle hit it. And he further tells me that he isnt going to make it.


WTF!!! I got front row to a show i dont want to see!! I am the 1st fucking car!!! I watched for an hour and a half. The paramedics left, the guy died.. There were 18 cop cars there making every car drive backwards down the off ramp. I was the very last car off.


Its easy to say the rest of my night sucked ass!! But it really didnt. It just opened my eyes to how things can change so fast all in a blink of an eye. I am so very great full to type this up and then kiss my girl and my kid..


I am so grateful that Porno Dan, Penny Flame and I are home alive!! Because some guy laying on the freeway is not ever coming home..

Sucks man.. but life goes on..

bikes don't tend to win too many collisions. i know putting myself on one would just be a bad thing waiting to happen...

You learn to apriciate the small things in life.. Like unassisted breathing, walking without crutches and not living in constant pain.

Today i will just smile and be grateful for the day.. Shoot my scene with a smile.. Thats generally every day, but i will be that much more grateful today..:thumbsup


And yes what i saw kinda fucked with my head. It just reinforced what is really important. Family, friends and good relations with everybody i am in contact with from the guy i get my coffee from in the morning to the people i shoot content for. Treat all people well and with respect. Life is short...:thumbsup

Yeah, there are a lot of hazards out there, especially at night.

Next time I see you I will tell you about the decapitation I came up on a year or so ago. I won't forget that for a while.

Wish I coulda made it out to this.. I was just so beat from shooting in Vegas all week that I needed to catch up on some ZZZ's...

was the truck liner heavily damaged, or is it repairable??

Yep. A tragedy happens and someone wants to jump in and giggle to himself about how witty he is.

In my case the car lost the bike won. The car that hit me was totaled. I was told I am still here because of a set of Dymag Wheels. if I had aluminum wheels apparently i probably would not have made it.

Yeah the pain is constant, and the battle i live with everyday i dont wish on anybody, riding was my life and passion and my only vice, i cant think of anything i want more than just to be on 2 wheels.

My life changed in an instant, and it will never be the same, EVER.

I go to work, and i am so happy that i can, i work with my brother Luca and i am so greatfull i get to see him everyday. I go home and I have my wife and kid that i love and could have lost.

I am just happy about LIFE, when things dont look your way just think it could be tragically worse.

Wow!! I way feel for you.. I had knee surgury and was on crutches for 4 months.. that sucked!! What u went through, i couldnt imagine!!


What i saw yesterday puts things way into perspective..
