What, as a webmaster, do you need?
 

I'm working on launching a new line-up of small / medium sized reasonably cheap scripts / web apps for webmasters. If there is a script or web app you need as a webmaster or somethin that you'd like to see for a decent price, speak up now! :thumbsup

Do you make one that will shut my wife up?

script, tell us a bit about what you code in, what languages you know, things you've done you're proud of, preferred os's etc.

I used to do alot of php work in adult, but got out cuz at the time it wasn't paying the bills. for the last few years i've been heading up pretty much all the web based stuff for a mainstream software company.

I'm most capable with php, xhtml, css, and javascript. I don't do graphics / designs so i tend to keep things clean.

I've coded alot of things over the years tho. Things i've programmed / am familiar with include (but not all): complex billing systems (cascading, tracking, etc..), shopping carts, high traffic sites (numerous, of all types, adult: review, blog, rating, tgp mainstream: sales sites, affil programs, carts, portals, just about everything else), and most recently pretty much all mainstream collaboration / project management type stuff like highrise (obviously not one of those guys, but i don't want to post sites here).

I'm pretty happy with my current situation as far as work goes, i just want to do something to bring in a bit more money in my rare off time, and i figured if i could write simpler / medium size scripts that webmasters like you guys need cheaply, everyone wins :)

Some feedback, awesome :thumbsup When you say to pull links off your site, you mean actual links to other pages, images, what? I could probably hook this up for you for a little bit of nothin if you could just be a bit more specific.

As far as a 'legal tube submitter' goes, could be done, but i'm not really looking for projects that i have to maintain long term, and any sort of submitter requires alot of maintenance.

I'm just lookin to help you guys out w/ some of the simpler stuff (tho i can get complex if the money is right), so you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for stupid scripts and shit

I'm not really looking to do script installs. If you need some help, i can help you out for a small fee, but this isn't really a thread where i'm lookin for work or anything. Just trying to get an idea of what scripts / programs webmasters like you guys need, so i can provide.

So please, keep posting if you guys need anything, but this isn't your normal 'im a starving programmer and need work' thread. I have plenty of work as is and while i'd be happy to help, i'm not looking to take on shit work for shit wages.
