Who are the largest tubes with illegal content and where do they host?
Hi Everyone,
As was previously announced we won't host tube sites with a preponderance of stolen video content. A few weeks after this announcement, the results are very positive: our clients and us are extremely satisfied and there aren't any offending sites on our network that I am aware of. Now that we've cleaned our house (and perhaps some competitors have) I think it's time that hosts announce their position. Also, I'd like to see members of the community identify the biggest tube site offenders with stolen content and which companies they are hosting with. Let's discuss! Sincerely, Brad Mitchell |
Tube8 dot com at AlphaRed..

This thread needs a bump. Even though its a sticky.

I have never been to a tube site, so I have no idea. Doubt anyone will admit to hosting them though.

We all know the Megarotic is the Giant but I don't know who the host is. I am sure that it will not be hard to find out though.
You are doing a great job in finding solutions to the problem rather than to just keep on complaining like so many others have. While most are waiting for someone else to do something you are leading the way. Kudos to your efforts Brad :thumbsup _ |

Lease Web would be the same company selling wholesale to most of the adult hosts that "opened shop" with european hosting (they're really just resellers of everything except the remote soft support). Brad |
Aren't most of them in Asia?
|
Rude.com can't find the hosting information.
|
youporn = soft layer
redtube = ch00pa xvideos = realitychecknetwork pornhub = swiftwill tube8.com = alphared all adult hosts go figure |

Is there anything that can be done?
I bet these hosting companies would rather go to court to keep these clients than refuse their money. :) |

bump for brad - fight the good fight!

Good luck everyone :)

Here is my position, on em. As a host, tube sites are great customers; lots of bandwidth and little trouble technically. The do get ddossed sometimes but those are generally few. I am, however, against using illegal content. If a site is using illegal content whether it is a paysite, TGP, MGP or tube I would be inclined to take it down. Tube sites in many ways are the wave of the future, it is how we use them that is killing the business.

let's figure out some more..

as long as they fully comply with the DMCA the safe harbor provision makes their use of your copyrighted material legal. |

Bump for Brad's leadership on a serious issue!
|
Good job Brad. I wish you the best of luck man. I cannot think of any right off of the top of my head but congrats to you for helping with this serious issue. Nobody should ever steal anyone else's content.
|
those within the industry should stick together for ethics regardless of legal technicalities allowing theft to go unpunished in the meantime
|
tnaflix are pretty big too. But they seems down?!
|
The thing that I don't understand here is this. If they stop hosting somewhere (let's say all adult hosts stop taking their business) won't another host be more than happy to host them. The money has to be good for that much bandwidth.

say for example when the religious right says all porn sites should be shut down for ethical reasons. |
