Dear VideoCharge customers!

We announce the release of VideoCharge version 3.14!

New 3.14 version of VideoCharge has the following changes:

1. Full support of MP4 (MPEG-4), 3GP, 3G2 formats!

Now there is an ability to operate with MP4, 3GP and 3G2 files in ?without-recompress? mode, what makes possible to join, split, cut out, add video scenes and perform any operation with videos without decoding and coding each file!

2. Added ability to get video of the same format as of source file.

With that function now you don?t need to set any parameters for video such as file type, codec of compression video or audio, parameters of sound and video.
All above parameters will be set automatically and output file will be similar to source one.

3. Expanded abilities on making watermarks for video.

Now watermarks can be shown at different time and in various points of a screen during video. It makes protection of your video more powerful.

In details:

There are 2 modes for that functionality:

* You set time range within which watermark will be shown, and pause. While playing video watermark will being displayed during specified period of time and then hidden. And in that way during whole video.
* You can manually set points where watermark will be shown

It needs to specify start time and end time of displaying. You can set few points for watermark.

Moreover, position of a watermark on the screen could be changed with every new appearance. Type of changing position could be the following:

* Random, i.e watermark will be shown in different points of a screen in a random way.
* Constant ? every new appearance of watermark will be in the corner with clockwise displacement.
* Set by User ? you can specify position where watermark will appear at definite time.

4. Added ability to add files for processing via Drag and Drop.

5. Fixed bugs from previous version.

We recommend all users of VideoCharge to download and install the latest version of the program!

I just got that same email too. The question is did they fix the ability to successfully split Quicktime videos without re-compression? That functionality was broken in the previous versions with every variety of Quicktime codecs. I started a thread in their forum a while ago but gave up making noise after sending them more and more samples of every variety of Quicktime video that couldn't be split, which as far as I can tell is every kind.

VideoCharge is the best for splitting without re-encoding

I have seven pcs in my office, and paid for a lot of pc software licenses that I use every day, so it's kinda late for me to switch now! I just tried the new VC on a few QT files I downloaded from online. It choked and crashed a few times on the splits using "Not to change original format" settings, but then it successfully split some files into two or three pieces, so maybe there is hope yet. I will have to try it later on one of my own QT videos that I edited myself, that will be the real test.

Havent had a chance to test quite yet. Hey since I have both you and Brad in this thread (though Brad is the mac guy so prob cant help me on this hehe) Are you doing any h.264 encoding yet? Switching to CDN flash 3 for members area delivery. Trying to get things as perfect as possible for it. If you can help me reduce the trial and error period that would be awesome hehe. :winkwink:
