Man U get lucky

Manchester United got very lucky to beat Barcelona, and not I am just saying this because I am a Man City fan.

It was a close game, for sure!

Bottom line is Barca didn't score at home, which was a big blow to them and ultimately led to there defeat.

kmanrox 04-29-2008 01:44 PM

Ive heard Man City is getting rid of Erikson. Not a good move in my opinion.

Didn't think Barcelona troubled Man U too much to be honest. Of course they were on the attack in the later stages, but only because Man U were gonna let them, as they had the goal advantage.

I hate the European Cup final having 2 sides from the same country though...

Scott McD 04-29-2008 01:49 PM

I fucking HATE seeing that on GFY.. :angrysoap

what's luck got to do with it? united didn't play there best football tonight but they certainly did enough to win. barcelona had a lot of possesion but not that many chances.

Sad with two english teams in the finale, but they are simply better.

3 english teams in the semi final, and it took an english team to knock out the fourth english team arsenal in the quarter finals as well. its clear the english premier league is the strongest league in the world now.

We must have been watching different games. Apart from Messi, Barcelona had nothing again... thats why their manager will be sacked and thats why some big name players will be coming to them next season. Utd hit them when it mattered, then held out and let Barca come at them hoping for a quick break away to get the second. I hope they get Liverpool in the final and hammer them! Utd, utd, utd, utd!!!!!

scottybuzz 04-29-2008 02:48 PM

close game, but not overly entertaining like it should have been. united didnt really get lucky, they got the goal and their attacks had much more power in them. barcalona were trying to create the perfect goal, so many times they should have taken a pot shot outside the box.

Anyway bring it on. 2 english teams in the final is GREAT. Shows that england have the best teams in europe. how many times now has an english team been in the final in the past 10 years?

They aren't happy with the way the have folded in the second half of the season and may sack him.

I think he has done a great job, half their starters are 21 or under: Joe Hart, Micah Richards, Stephen Ireland, Michael Johnson, Gelson Fernandes and Vedran Corluka, but sure looks like he is done at City

When I in sales for a Fortune 500 company we had worldwide sales meetings.

A guy I became best friends with was a Man City fan.

When I went over to visit him in the UK he got me into being a supporter of them.

I am huge fan now.

SayWhut 04-29-2008 11:54 PM

Man U are not the same without their lethal flying kicking kung fu master Cantona. :(
