Any successful gay adult webmasters who are straight?

Are there any straight people who manage gay websites who are very successful at doing so? I mean, they so it helps to know your niche, but I can't really see straight people selling gay porn. (I'm not thinking about trying this, just curious haha).

:winkwink::winkwink:

Im not sure you are gonna find too many.. other than the webmasters that do all niches... I think for you to be a GREAT gay webmaster you have to really love what you do.

I did SEO / Marketing Consulting on perfectguyz.com about 3 years ago and did really well.
I'm going to use that niche knowledge again on another site soon..

It is fine to do a job, gay or straight does it really matter if you shop at home depot or Lowe's?

Not really... I know several people that do very well in the gay market and they are totally straight. I know more straight than gay.

You don't need to "be into" something in order to promote it. You just need to know how to market and how to get traffic. Once you know that, you can sell anything...

I think I fit the bill also. It sort of fell into my lap though. I started in college as a cam guy myself and put some of my buddies on cam with me and turned it into a site. It's non nude though so not sure how much that counts, but the customers are primarily gay. Camwithhim.com (formally guyswithcams.com) actually came out before camwithher.com.

I have tried promoting it abit but since I kinda sucked at writing sales text for gay sites I stopped, I have like 1 blog now that I update from time to time.

I would say that it's best to use a gay person; but when it comes to Pay per click anyone can review conversion by keyword research then use those keywords to target your seo ; once you see what keywords convert best you can target any niche...

XonDemand Gay has several Gay websites and thousands of gay porn movies...

arial 04-29-2008 08:37 PM

We're all straight here at Gay Gravy, Tranny Pay, Pride Access, ect... although sometimes we have some really gay fucked up convos at the office. Yeah...

CunningStunt 04-29-2008 09:01 PM

teh boy alley is straight :)
