What are the 'typical' conversion ratios, in your experience for...

...a free site such as Join4Free/pink4Free where all the viewer needs to submit is an email address if the FPA is displayed as an exit popup?

...how about the above but as a enter popup?

Which programs work best at converting (ratio and money) if being used as exit popups? Sites like the above? Amateur pages (pay per clicks) or regular AVS?

I am converting 1:30 with tgp traffic using <A HREF="http://cecash.com/greenindex.html?affiliate=2462738:VMI4">CE Mags</A> comes out pretty good at $1.50 a email address. I dont use any type of popups. I believe nothing good comes out of a popup

I make a killing on a pop-up with CEMags... making them the main attraction is generally not a good idea. Of course after a week half the emails would cancel... I hate deductions.

There is no standard conversion ratio. I know people who average 1:2000 for the same programs others average 1:300. I know people who average 1:50 for the same programs others average 1:1000. It's all over the place.

Where is the traffic coming from, and how is it being sent?

My deductions stay pretty low, I always seem to have way more submitted then confirmed, what the fuck are the surfers doing I wonder? Are they trying to enter with a false address or do they just dont know they have to confirm it. Reguardless CEMags are a great email program the best since FEB

How many mags do you advertise? Are they subscribing to multiple mags? And yeah u get a bunch of crap address of people trying to test the system out. CEMags is doing a big dis-service to itself by showing the number of submission as opposed to just showing the confirms
