Is there a moment in your life where you'd like to go back....

and do some things differently?

Serious replies please, instead of "yeah, I'd register sex.com and porn.com" ;)

Or are you rather the type who lives today, has no regrets and believes that thinking about the past is a waste of time?

Jens Van Assterdam 04-28-2008 06:40 AM

Thinking about the past is a waste of time, but i think i would do things different then i have done them in the past. Would meet a lot more with friends and care a lot more for friendship´s and relationships at all. I think i took "doing it my way" a bit to serious. These days i just care for money and women are just "usefull toys" to me. That results in bad karma and full pockets.. also not the way to go i think. :2 cents:
Money isnt everything is also something i had to learn the hard way..

I really would not change my past although some of it was not nice. If I did change my past I probably would not be working in this great industry we are in :thumbsup

carol.prime 04-28-2008 08:58 AM

holy shit!

As for me, if you had asked me this question 6 or 8 months ago I may have said yes to changing the past, but now today I have to say no. I wouldn't change anything.
I am very happy with my life at this moment & erasing any of the bad shit could have totally changed where I am today :)
Everything for a reason & so on & so forth ...

Funny thing, every time when i think how i should return in time, that is first thing what i would do(domain registration).Doesnt need to be sex.com or porn.com (sex.com will be stolen as we saw),it could be any other worth domain for example bussiness.com.Beside that it will be enough to return 5 minutes in history to win money on live betting(yep,5 minutes will be enough)

Rochard 04-28-2008 09:21 AM

I have no regrets at all.

The best choice I ever made was joining the US Marines at age 17. I am thankful every day for that; It's made me what I am today.

My goal in life was to do better than my father did. My father left behind a string of broken marriages, three kids with different mothers, and died when I was nine months old. I've only been married once, have one child with my wife of eight years, we have a steady relationship, an angel for a child, and I've outlived him.

I'm happy as a fucking clam.

Tom_PM 04-28-2008 09:27 AM

Yeah. A lot of moments.

Life is short!

LauraLee 04-28-2008 09:33 AM

Generally no regrets, but for me it would be too tempting, if given the chance, to not go back and have a few more conversations with loved ones now long gone. For sure.

Maybe you are borned under lucky star :D

sniperwolf 04-28-2008 10:14 AM

Yes, there is. BUt just like what others have said, it could change what I am now if i will change it. And I've learned that in life, things happened for a a reason, they may not be the thing you wanted but in due time you'll realized its worth.

I can say I'm fairly having a happy life now.

CurrentlySober 04-28-2008 10:17 AM

Yeah, the year 2000. I would hasve done excactly the same things I did, but this time would savour them more :)

Reak AGV 04-28-2008 10:25 AM

I've done pretty good for myself I think, made some good and bad choices but thats how life goes. If I could go back and change something, surely would have spend more time with my family when it was still possible.

bronco67 04-28-2008 10:46 AM

Oh yeah. For sure...

I would have handled a situation differently at a job I was working at. I lost my head, and even though I was 100% right, the other scumbag kept his cunning and cool and ran me out of the department -- THAT I CREATED! It doesn't matter if you're right or wrong, it's how you're perceived. People are just dumb that way, and manipulative people will always win. The world runs on bullshit.

Now I've started my own thing and doing better, so fuck them -- but I realize how I could have come out on top in that situation. So I would like to go back to one moment when I spoke to one conversation...it was just the wrong timing and I said the wrong things. It changed the course of my life in a good way in the end, but it irks me that I was bested by a sneaky, no talent bastard who runs a good game.

Cyndalie 04-28-2008 10:55 AM

Nope, my mistakes made me who I am and I like who that turned out to be. I love my life. Sure I could use more money, be in better shape, etc. But that's small beans in the big scheme of things.

tony286 04-28-2008 10:57 AM

That I didnt go with the first processor ad I saw in a mag when I was starting. It was ibill and we know that story.

Sly 04-28-2008 10:59 AM

Live and learn. Every mistake was a lesson.

Best way to look at it...unless that mistake gets you horribly burned over 90% of your body and turns you into a gruesome burnt raisin beast that makes children scream.

M0nk 04-28-2008 11:20 AM

hmmmm.... nah! I´m ok with the way my life developed!

GetSCORECash 04-28-2008 11:24 AM

I would have like to have waited till the real estate bubble had bursted to have bought my home. :(

Martin 04-28-2008 11:26 AM

Only a couple things. I think everybody is the same though.

Honez 04-28-2008 11:43 AM

I would have stayed out of the sun and taken up gymnastics as a child. :)

Other than that, I don't have many regrets.

SilentKnight 04-28-2008 01:10 PM

Some stuff I'd like to go back and re-live...but not change if it meant changing who/what I am today.

Not living in teh past but, yes actually there was some ops that I let pass at this time that I wouldn't again :winkwink:

PerrieBelle 05-10-2008 09:37 PM

Everyone has things in their past that they would rather they had not done... Be it sleeping with the wrong person or putting too much marmite on your toast....
But every little thing moulds you into the person you are today... So I am pretty sure I'd not change anything...

:)

Iron Fist 05-10-2008 10:05 PM

yeah, I'd register sex.com and porn.com

Word2348 05-10-2008 10:57 PM

every man has regrets

MattO 05-10-2008 11:05 PM

I'd go back to the time I fucked your mom and pull out this time.

pornbling 05-10-2008 11:09 PM

What we did in the past put us on different road, on a different journey! I'm glad that I did mistakes because humans must know and live further in their life with those mistakes. I don't have any regrets even now I just live on, if I did things some other way maybe I wouldn't be here on this forum... Remember life is too short to think about regrets and past mistakes we just live for tomorrow and tomorrow exists because of us.

ultimatebbwdotcom 05-10-2008 11:11 PM

I spent a little too much time in a relationship and should have got out earlier. I ended up wasting 10 years with a nice person but, not one that flicked my switch. Apart from that no apologies, no regrets.

siccmade 05-11-2008 12:19 AM

I would go back to the day I clicked "send"

and save myself $38,000 and a hate for MS.
