I do not know much about snake babies. If that final picture is of the baby snake, did it just eat something or was it just born with a fat ass?
born with a fat ass, im researching that now myself. I think it fixes itself over time. If not, I had the temp in the incubator wrong or there was a heat/cold flux I wasn't aware of.
Plus or minus 5 degrees either direction will mess the eggs up. This could be a 4 degree fat ass result. Or it could normal out. Dunno yet, still learning. I'm expecting 2-3 more to hatch over next few days, if I cant find any info online, Ill be able to compare then at least. |
Looks beautiful...
congrats!
nice, how big will it get?
I prefer my pets to have fur, but Lori is totally digging your snakes. The one in the header on your blog is her favorite.

Congrats!
Luisa thinks you should sell it fast. |
Thats pretty cool!
congrats
What do you feed them this young?
nice work! what are the parents to these little guys? i remember seeing your new bumblebee morph a while back. how many snakes do you got now?
i'd like to get a couple het pieds and give breeding some balls a run. right now i have a breeding pair of mexican black kings, and have been speaking with a few people about putting together some cornsnake breeding projects. i like keeping and breeding reptile and arachnid pets... i had one of my taratnulas bred back in august and am waiting to see if the eggsack is viable or not at the moment. i'm on a 50/50 breeding loan for that but even with half of a viable sack i should have at least 50, possibly upwards of 150 of the little batsards to deal with, haha. i love creepy pets. best of luck with your new babies... |
i'm the first clutch:pimp
Are you going to sell them off? how much do they go for?
normal balls go for fuck all, like $8 wholesale on imports. retail 50-80 @ petcos.
its the morphs that are big money. this clutch is a practice clutch. ive got about 14 different morphed females and 1 male bumblebee @ the moment. my genetic goal is a pied bumblebee, all white with bumblebee stripes, or killer bee. dunno yet. =))) |
so wait a second here... what is a clutch compared to a ball?
Looks like a ball to me... |
first pic i found at google :(
