Can someone that is tube site and flash knowledgable answer me this?

why is perfectgonzo's tube embed code like this (HUGE)

Code:

<object classid='clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000' codebase='http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0' width='454' height='402' id='player' align='middle'><param name='allowScriptAccess' value='sameDomain' /><param name='allowFullScreen' value='true' /><param name='menu' value='false' /><param name='swLiveConnect' value='true' /><param name='quality' value='best' /><param name='movie' value='http://flash.asstraffic.com/player.swf?MMplayerType=PlugIn&flv_source=http://flash.asstraffic.com/victoria_trailer.flv&jpg_source=http://images.perfectgonzo.com/mg/content/asstraffic.com/victoria/movies/images/scene_flv.jpg&moviepart=0&webmasterID=760779&campaign=(none)&exit=y&siteID=1&indexxxed=false&model=victoria' /><param name='quality' value='best' /><param name='bgcolor' value='#dfe5ef' /><embed src='http://flash.asstraffic.com/player.swf?MMplayerType=PlugIn&flv_source=http://flash.asstraffic.com/victoria_trailer.flv&jpg_source=http://images.perfectgonzo.com/mg/content/asstraffic.com/victoria/movies/images/scene_flv.jpg&moviepart=0&webmasterID=760779&campaign=(none)&exit=y&siteID=1&indexxxed=false&model=victoria' menu='false' scale='noscale' quality='best' bgcolor='#dfe5ef' width='454' height='402' name='FLVplayer' align='middle' allowScriptAccess='sameDomain' allowFullScreen='true' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' pluginspage='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer' /></object>
but yet stfucash has a simple and tiny embed code?

Code:

<embed src=""http://promos.jerked.com/jpromo.swf?f=bab_045_alanna_ackerman_t1_large&a=seriom:1twco:bandb&l=l1"" width=""640"" height=""380"" />
what is the difference?

Because one is being passed as an object with all the info where the other one is embeded and only has the file info

why does each sponsor do it that way?

is there benefit to passing it as an object over just an embed?

What Pete said, specifically. The Object method is the new method; embed is deprecated, but it still works fine.. <Object> works just fine in IE 5+, Netscape 6+, IE 5+, Safari. It will not work with Netscape 1-4.

More control available, mostly.

As far as I know if you don't include the object info it's not compliant html and may not work in all browsers etc.

If I were to do it I'd probably have a short and sweet javascript file that prints the embed code.
