Yes, it's true. After five years of slinging servers I have decided that it's time for something new. No drama, no bull shit. I will be starting something new very shortly, you will hear about it soon.

For the past two weeks I have been training my replacement, Bridgette. Some of you have already had the pleasure of working with her. She is all caught up to where she needs to be and will be able to service all of your Phatservers sales needs. You can reach her at [email protected] or [email protected] .

Thanks to everybody at Phatservers for five years of madness, LOL. It's been a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Moose introduced me to my newfound love of sushi! Weee!

I will still be around for the weekend wrapping up some tasks, so if you guys need anything just let me know. It's been great working with you all. :-)

Wow, I fully expected this thread to be a joke. You have done a lot to promote the Phatservers name, and you leave some mighty big shoes to fill. Well, okay, maybe not shoes, but you know what I mean.

Congrats on whatever your new venture brings. Speaking from experience, it is easy to get used to working for someone, but once you strike out on your own the world is your oyster.

Personally, I'd doubt he'd go to another hosting company. After five years of working on one project, sometimes a new challenge is just wanted.

I know one reason I started in the VOD side was because I was sick of selling content and wanted a new challenge.

I have much love for the whole crew over at Phatservers...but for some reason have never met this Bridgette person...does she like sushi? Is she as much fun to hang out with as you at shows?

Thats like saying I went from selling SUV's this summer to selling Hybrids....because i needed a new challenge.

I'm sure part of it was you wanted a new challenge....but at least 1% of it had to be the much larger profit margin in VOD & sales opportunity....while typical small-scale content production is dying out.

But i will agree VOD had to be a challenge....new technology is always a challenge.

Have many guys that I sold to my first year that are still around kicking and growing like weeds. That is quite a testament to the quality of the Phatservers support team. Hard-working group of guys, that's for sure.
