this happened about 2-300 yards from my bedroom. I could have seen it from my balcony!

Truth is shark attacks are rare, you are more likely to die from bee stings, lightning strikes and a lot of other stuff. Great whites roam the cali coast so thats no surprise. but figuring you get what 1 maybe 2 hits a year, figure how many people are in the water all year...

If you don't get in the water the sharks can't eat you. You play around on their dinner plate and you are dinner - simple as that. If you were meant to be in the ocean you would have gills and fins.

It takes some getting used to, as I have the one you wear on your ankle but I like the peace of mind that if a Shark is sniffing around me he will not want to stay. |
Hal---I gotta ask, what would an apartment that close to the water cost in San Diego? Im in NY so I have no clue, I was told a room in SD is like 1000/month.

Man I was swimming masters at lunch with some guys today and they told me about this, what a shitty way to go. No rush to hit the water yet until I can go without a suit, don't want to be looking like a seal for this rogue white out there

Man I live here at Daytona Beach and I won't go far out in the water. I haven't gone far out since I went to the the Bahamas in 2001.. I want to see the fucker that's gonna eat me..

I think they prefer fish and seal meat much more, but once in awhile a person will get attacked and eaten. Such is life.
