Pete/Fletch Issue
 

Heres what happened since a lot of you are getting only part of the story:

I emailed Fletch about my new exitcoin program. I have his email in my list because he signed up to another one of my programs (I have a few). He came on this board and attacked me calling me a spammer. (Is it spam when Lensman and Fantasy Man email you telling you of a new program because at one time you signed up to one of their programs)? Thats simply what I did.

I ended up looking feverishly for his email to prove that I was not spamming him and answering his question as to where I got his e-mail. I found it and posted his name and date of when he signed up. I did not post personal info like address and phone number etc (everyone seems to think that though). Later I removed that anyway.

He was in the wrong by attacking me and my program when all I did was email him because he was in my list so I asked him for an apology later.

Thats about all there is to it. Everyone else is making it into something bigger than it is.

Oh and thanks for fucking up my buisness for me. I appreciate it!

Dude I had the same thing this week...some little fuck wit had submitted to my tgp under loads of different email addresses that all directed back to the same one. Sent out a bulk email informing everyone who had submitted over the past few years about XXX Star Cash due to him spamming my tgp and cheating he got loads of emails through...if he had played by the rules it would have been cool....but no he had to cheat...you could say with a tgp you are not allowed to mass mail them out however my view is that I do not demand a recip so fuck it they can get some mail about my new program as "payment"....The bottom line is in my opinion the majority of people who cry out "Spam" are just pretty small time anyway so I do not give a shit...(not saying that Fletch is small time) but most people seem to cry Wolf for fuck all reason these days....

Nothing Fletch did seemed unreasonable. He just asked you were he got the email address from. By being vague, <i>you</i> were the one that turned it into something more than it was. Posting his contact info, and forcing him to apologize to remove it, was not cool. Just drop it already.

So you should give up, You being a Sponsor posting your affiliates
details on a public board, your lucky he does'nt sue your arse.

I have never opted in for any optin porn lists ever but I still get 300+ spam mails a day.
Why would I optin for someones bullshit spam,? And when you optout all you are doing is verifying that the email address they used to spam you is a working email addy, Then more fuckin spammin:glugglug

It's amazing how so many PEOPLE in this biz do not realize what is spam and what is from a legal list from an affiliate program. Calling Pete a spammer would be the same as calling any of the BIG players a spammer for sending out affiliate program information..


Giving out his gf info sucks and is the only ISSUE ... Frankly, all of you should shut up unless you are going to whine to the BIG players about their legal emails, too..
