Picture I got from Iraq, real or fake?
 

Been sorting some old pictures and found that one. It claimed to be servicemen from Iraq, i did believe him then and gave him free membership to the site. Looking at this one now I have some doubts, what do you think? Real or fake?

Ok to add to the story, the ip that the picture was sent from is Iraqi indeed, dont think they got proxy there in 2006, plus the map, and the other boxes/equipment need an eye of ex soldier to determine if its all authentical.

there is green in the map....we all know iraq is all yellow.

Now take a really close look at the horizontal direction of the writing.

The writing should be folding with the paper as it moves right. The paper itself has folded slightly both on the top and the bottom due to tension. The words don't follow the fold. They continue like normal. This is even more apparent when checking the vertical axis. The letters should be moving left as they move away from the center of the page. Staying in line with the edge of the paper. They do not.

The date does not matter to determine if its fake or real, plus i could guess that his camera timing is wrong. He could not know in 2005 that he need to make a shoot with 23 Oct 2006 date...

And... why did someone write 2006 with a different script?

But the picture could have been taken in any base office. If I were in Irak, I would have send an outdoor pic, showing something like a newspaper, a flag or whatever makes you believe I am truly there. :upsidedow

I don't know if it is chopped, but its definitely not script written.

"6" is used twice in the writing, compare both .. they are different. So not written by script.

Same with "L", both "L" are different and looks handwritten.

Same with "2" ..

I reckon it is true LB-69. I get a lot of hits on my ladyboy sites from the ME.
