photoshop does just fine for batch work as long as you set up the action properly.. it's pretty easy.. and of course it has plenty of versatility and functionality for other chores as well.

HAHAHA newbreed = fucker

Have to agree with Kevin on this one. Didnt want to take the time to set up the action but once I did it was like "butta". And since it is part of my workflow already I dont need to leave photoshop.

Another tip, make sure your logo is a vector file so it resizes without a loss of quality.

I'd use photoshop because you can make the process completely automated.

and i've never used any other graphics app for the last 10 years so I dunno what else you could possibly use. :)

That was my thought Photoshop works very well if you know how to set it up.

Don't forget Lightroom, much faster for image editing than Photoshop.

Also, you call Photoshop from Automator (using this plugin), which is really handy.

Quicksilver is the first app I ever install on a new Mac.

Pathfinder is an excellent Finder replacement.

Oh, and Inquisitor for Safari3 is wonderful

3xTom 04-24-2008 06:29 AM

This is some really awesome suggestions here

How bout we keep this one going bringing up any cool software for a mac that helps us get our job done... :)

I really think the guy here that created slush is a king among kings in creating this piece of software for us mac users....

Job well done... :)
