like big thumb when you click it goes to the video on your blog?

What you mean whit "goes to video" ?

You want to download video file or to streaming flv file in flash player?

Yeah you need to fiddle about with the templating.

Depends if you put the video on a page or a post.

Custom fields in wordpress are handy for this.
