What would you do if you had 1500 videos?

Go for a site with a massive rotate and adding policy. I think that option will get you recurring revenue for a few months as the surfer will want to come back for the new stuff, that is of course if the site is nice..

Have already got this and it is a route we're doing today. The rotate and add policy is at four months and other than a few moans from members who want everything in one site, at the same price, it works well.

Just not sure if they will stay 4 months to download everything. Of course our stuff is total rubbish, saturated, skinny or fat or old or what ever. LOL

Depends on the content. If it's 1500 'teen' videos, you could make a single members area and different niche tours for it (mega teen tour, blonde tour, brunette tour, red head tour, panty tour, hardcore tour, etc). If it's all in a single members area, make sure the content is easily search able based off the different tour/sub niches.


If it's totally different content, then niches sites would probably better suite it, with maybe bonus access to the other sites include with membership. (niched such as hairy, teen softcore, teen hardcore, mature, etc). You could separate them as much as the content quantity allows for.


The rotation really depends on what you want to accomplish, and what you CMS allows for. Different options are:

1) Start every member with a set amount of content and build to an eventual end.

2) Start all members in the same amount of content, and have the content update (and/or drop off) universally for all members.

3) Start members all in the same place with content, but build their content shown so that content never drops off.

Thanks for some of the replies.

I was chatting with a member last night and wonder how typical he is. He is on a good connection, but not exceptional. In a few hours every night unless the download limit is very low he can DL 10 to 20 movies in a few hours. So signs up for a month, cancels the rebill, downloads as much as he can in the month and then goes away for a few months.

So is it a good idea with todays sites to have a big site, or better to have lots of medium size ones and cross sell and feed from one to the rest?
