Staying in one of the villas at the Hilton... right on the beach, away from the loud music and craziness, but that's all 5 minutes away if we decide to do that scene (like we did last night).

Thanks. We needed to get away, lol. We bought another business last month and we've been going crazy with that. Things are running smooth now, though, and we needed a little getaway (or maybe I just wanted to have an excuse for coming down here, lol).

Been to Mexico quite few times, but this is our first trip to Cancun. I think the passport thing is finally in effect now... I know you used to be able to come here with an ID and birth certificate.

That's another thing we have to 'THANK' terrorists for... I remember being able to go down to TJ just with my Cali License (1.5 hr drive from LA @ 75MPH)... not anymore! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! LOL

I've had a passport since I was a kid (went to South Korea when I was 12), but Alysha got hers and I renewed mine several years back. It won't be long before you need one to fly domestic... :(

Is that Ambiance Villas??? if it is, they also have a nice pool. How long are you here?? Maybe my wife and I can drop by one afternoon for a drink.

If you get the chance and want a change of pace. Visit El Garrafon reef at nearby Isla Mujares for some fine snorkling. There used to be an end of the world experience there at Los Hammocas (The Hammocks) where you could rent a hammock and wall locker on the beach for $3 a day. Good music and cold beer at night under the palms.

Not sure about that... it's the villas at the Hilton in the Hotel Zone. Km 17.

There are seven pools here, and that's where I'll be soon... right at the swim up bar. :drinkup

I am 2 miles to the North of the hotel zone. We moved here in jan. If you had been staying a little longer, we might have been able to make it down. Well either way, have a good time, and enjoy the sun and fun.

The wife and I also was down in Cancun two weeks ago. We stayed at the Marriott Casamagna and went to Chitin Itza, Tulum, and a few other places (we are hardcore sightseers).

We are looking to buy land out there. Since you live there can you tell me where would be the best places to buy right now...

The first one was near Chitin Itza, It is a HUGE sink hole you can swim in. The last two were over in Tulum. We went to these places using the "Cancun Line" tour buses.

I love the Hilton. I've been staying there for over 10 years. It wasn't even called the Hilton back then.

Have you been eating the breakfast buffet? I have dreams about it. Especially the juices.

We're coming home tomorrow... We have to shoot a DVD and have it ready by May 5, so we have a little work to do once we get home, though. (Unless Kelly wants to be in a scene with Alysha? :winkwink: )
