selling t-shirts.. absolute cheapest method?
I designed a particular logo and a lot of people have expressed interest to have a shirt with the logo on it.. I'm interested in possibly starting a site and selling them.. Now I know there are services out there like cafepress, but it's expensive to the visitors (at least $22 per shirt).. And then there are a bunch of services that will fulfill your orders online and send you the shirts..
But someone mentioned to save the *most* money per shirt, order blank tshirts yourself (which are something like $2+ a piece), and take them to a local press and have them do it for you.. Experience / opinions on this? Thanks |
hey man, we can set you up with what you need
Our main shop is http://shop.damagedtees.com but we can do anything custom and probably for cheaper than you will find elsewhere. Depending on the logo colors and size of the logo it can be pretty cheap to have them professionally silk screened |
bump for you!

I went to my local silk screener and have them do it. They came out nice. I payed $3 and change and that included the shirt itself.

Tip: Don't try to save money and go with 50/50, Do 100% cotton:2 cents:

If its local friends and family and stuff like that, just put together some seed money and get a bunch made up. Probably for five dollars or less like some here have mentioned... you can sell them for $10 or whatever you want. I don't think $10 is unreasonable to ask... I had a friend do this once and I had no problem giving him $10 for his T-shirt.
