Don't you love it when you find a popular search term by mistake?
 

Been plugging away on my hand written blogs these past few weeks, trying to get posts updated for at least 2-3 months in advance, haven't remembered to check the stats regularly

I checked today and saw a search term was being hit a LOT....did a 30 day stats report and turns out I am getting 200-250 searches a day for this one term, I checked google and sure enough I am #6 for this particular term

sure wish it was like the good old days though, where a #1-10 position on a good term guaranteed you 10-20 sales a day

Fuck wish I would have been doing SEO back then, regardless the sales still flow through steadily. I can only imagine how it would have been. Always nice to pop up for a term you aren't even attacking and get nice amounts of traffic from it. :thumbsup

i love it when i get surprises from google...
like getting a ref link in the second spot ;-) bad thing is, it stayed there only for a few days....

oh man, when I started working in seo like 5 years ago I got the #1 position for "Gena Lee Nolin sex tape" right when the sex tape was announced, man I had 20-30 sales a day from that listing, and at $40 a pop PPS i was making nice change for a few weeks

the real challenge is holding it ;) the past year or so google has been focusing more on "fresh" content making it harder to hold a term for a significant period of time.

yeah, i am not that worried though, the other links surrounding me are rapidshare and torrent sites offering the scene for free, so it ain't that big of a deal

i am trying to find more scenes of this chick though, at least give the surfers something they can't find for free :disgust
