I dunno, John Walker Lindh got alot of publicity & he didn't get executed for treason. So i guess publicity is good, no matter what type.

I think there's probably a limit. But yes, for some people bad publicity seems to work. I guess each situation is different.

For myself I wouldn't want bad publicity for something I don't believe in... meaning, I see people on the boards (and I am NOT talking about Pete and Fletch, I have no idea what their argument was about) going after bad publicity on purpose, arguing over things that they don't believe in, fighting just to fight. It seems like a total waste of time and energy to me, just for a little exposure. I know I wouldn't want to do business with someone who uses this type of tactic.

But don't get me wrong, I love the tone of GFY and I love when people get into it... but only when it is for real. I think it's constructive to have it out when you care about the issues. There are many sides to all issues, and I respect people who can argue their point effectively, even if I don't always agree with what they say.

I guess this relates to how I like my porn...
