From the sound of that news clip, we should have been rolling around in water powered cars for the last 25-30 years.

I wonder why the US government hasn't made this a standard for cars?

Why is it always some "lone ranger" inventor, with little to no money, who lives in some secluded rural area who invents these things?

For example, ballard power systems has spent billions of dollars developing Hydrogen fuel cell technology - you are telling me that this yahoo spent 5 grand on a dune buggy to achieve the same result? Pull your heads out of your asses people.. believing in magic is quaint and all.. but let's leave that to Santa Claus, the Easter bunny and polk-a-roo.
