Plasma TV recommendation anyone?
I'm thinking of getting the Pioneer Kuro 42", but it's not 1080p, its 720p. any one have any thoughts on if 1080p is really noticeable at 42 inches? I just want the best plasma I can get but not size doesn't matter for once.

Make sure to go and check the plasmas in a store like best buy, target or even walmart. Check out the amazing reflections on the screens!
Completely dark room + plasma = win. Everything else fails. |

Depends on how close you will be sitting to it, and if you plan on watching blu-ray discs.
Because that is really the only 1080p source out there right now, other than the odd video game, or if you stream 1080p media files from your computer. I have seen some cheaper 1080p TVs that don't look so good. At least with the Pioneer you know you are getting quality. Personally I would go with a Samsung 1080P LCD in the same size, but that is just my preference. The newest models are very good. |
Get a Panasonic plasma , it rocks! :thumbsup
