What do you expect from a religious leader you idiot? And realistically he has a point, the cultural degeneration of the West and the deterioration of the family structure has been happening rapidly since the end of WWII, and sure pornography plays a role in it, along with the glorification of violent lifestyles (i.e. gangsta rap, etc) and hollywood.

I agree that our media has to much pornography and violence in it. But that's part of our freedoms. If he going to condemn someone, he should start with the International corps that own our media or his own tax haven at that.

Seems you're the idiot. There's nothing wrong with violence in the media or pornography. Are you telling people to limit their creativity? There are plenty of filters, etc for parents use. It's the children and the parents that raise them.

One can blame Violence on television and the stories found on Mainstream television to be the primary problem.

Look at what Mainstream television says.

Mainstream entertainment has extra merital affairs dramatised, Romance dramatised, Premerital sex dramatised and much more and at the end of each story it is OK to maintain these sort of dysfunctional affairs as messages to the story and the morals of a story. I need not even mention the senseless violence Television displays from Jeolous Murdering husbands and wives to pointless teen stories using drugs having sex all wrapped up in an attempt to justify these violent perspectives.

The porn industry is smack bang fucking with nearly no dialog or justification as to why the actors are doing what they are doing. The Actors are merely fucking.
Porn is pretty much mindless entertainment.

However at the end of it all, the fuck with Marriage it not a institution that is fair to either party of a marriage, and as to Family values and its meaning, is nothign more than an effort of control over a populace that leads to unhappy life styles.

You say cultural degeneration like it's a bad thing. Maybe, just maybe, the prudes and conservatives are just blowing the negative effects out of proportion. Is society REALLY harmed by violence on TV? Does anyone REALLY care if a couple fucks in a park? And is it REALLY anyone else's business if someone near death wants an assisted suicide? These things are entirely psychological to those against them. They have NO REAL EFFECT on society.

And the deterioration of the family structure was caused by the changing of the divorce process. Many years ago it was very difficult to get a divorce, so couples just stayed together unhappy for 30, 40, 50 years. One could argue that was a much worse situation to be in than what we see today.

On no people limit their creativity! What a crime against humanity! We should all be so 'creative' and have scat on TV. Parents play the most important role no doubt, but we are in a generation now that was raised on misguided values as well, and many of them prefer to be their kids best friend than their parent. It's a bad cycle.

And as for brainwashing people and pushing their values onto others, perhaps you should examine the mainstream media (aka Hollywood) for that. I am not saying it's all bad, but there is no doubt the media has pushed agenda's such as multiculturalism, gay-rights, pre-marital sex, etc in a very cunning and increasing way onto their audiences over the years to break down societies thoughts on these matters and replace them with their own.

Great point. Porn plays actually a very small part, since there is at least some control over who has access. But the way violence is sold so cheapily in music and movies is far worse.

If you really think there's nothing wrong with "violence in the media" you must be ingoring a lot of events. Violence and sex (not necessarily porn) are exploited in every form of media and quite vulgarly Some record labels or movie studios should try to be creative and do some things differently.

Even with when i was young i watch some porn too.

Why not rejoice. Without porn being hidden away, dirty, for perverts, and supposed to be kept in the closet it would not be so profitable. Open sexuality and discussion hurts my conversions.
