It was actually more....

Ive been on the wagon with online poker for about 3 months with no forms of gambling. Wont ever be back to Full Tilt.

I hated that place.

Got the little fishy beside your name eh lol..

I'm up on Poker Stars, but I don't play at your stakes online. I play the $5-10 MTT.

shermo 04-17-2008 01:02 PM

no-bluffing-you is my account... Says I'm down $175. Of course this doesn't count 2 player sit and go's, 1 gamt sit and go's and cash games...I'm way up in that dept. as I play decent limits for cash games. :)

Check http://officialpokerrankings.com/ ... It's much more detailed. :) I just play low limit tournies for real world tourney practice. If I play for real money, I hit a casino. Online is just a hobby :)

0/29 ITM?! You have to at least get in the money a few times, man!

Hrmmmmm... Boneprone you're playing above your limit mang, not that you can't afford it, but your poker bankroll can't afford it, because the players who can consistently play at those levels are much better than you are, basically. If you went down in limits and started consistently winning your games, then you can move up and face the better opponents.

In a live game however, I wouldn't mind you even sitting down with $12k, because there's a lot more room for play. A solid player is still going to clean you though! :)

I suck too... I've had a chance to talk in real life with a lot of poker pros though, just find it hard to play online well, no self control.

I've met phil ivey, andy bloch, chris ferguson, phil hellmuth, howard lederer, all the female players... I even got to wear both of Devil Fish's two-finger rings.. :)

I went to Monte Carlo for the Poker Millions in 2005 I believe it was.. Phil Ivey won the $1m first prize, then took another $600k playing in a Full Tilt tournament televised inside of one of the famous casinos there. Was only the 3rd time in history they let a film crew inside the casino.. One of the others was for a James Bond movie I remember.

You probably saw me on TV then.. :) I heard I made it on a few times in the background.. There was an amazing hand in that game when it was heads up, that I will never, ever forget. One of the best hands I've ever seen, and I was IN THE ROOM! Just feet away from the table.. Amazing.

Phil Ivey HU with Paul Jackson from England. I had been hanging around Paul Jackson and his English posse all week, since the day we arrived. We went to the bar in our hotel, and saw a bunch of guys playing poker.. We asked to join, and they said we could play the next game.. Turns out they were all registered in the tournament, 10 of them. Several people didn't play in our bar game, including Paul Jackson, he was just drinking around the table. The tournament was a $25,000 buyin too.. :P

So we played, and I WON.. I think we all played for $30 euros or something, so I took home a few hundred euros.. The guy I beat heads up had taken 12th place in the WSOP Main Event final table that year! :)

So anyways yeah, here is the hand I'm talking about.. Must see.

In the room we had no idea what cards they had of course, so we figured they both had huge hands.. It was really the turning point or more like last dagger that hand. Paul Jackson came over after the tournament to his buddies that I was with, and we asked him what he had.. Then he smiled and said he asked Ivey what he had that hand, and he told him..... Anyways watch the video, dont' wanna spoil it. :)
