    How to create keystroke shortcuts?

Let's say I use a specific block of text quite often... it could be anything... are there any programs or any ways that I could set up my computer so that I press (for example) CTRL + J and it types out that block of text?

I swear I saw a program once that did somethinglike this and now I can't seem to find anything.
