    Anyone here know from DJ Qbert? Want to see him?

    I love Qbert, he's got serious skills. I think we just locked him in as the DJ for the July 11th Players Ball during XBiz. We're still going to have a headlining artist, but having Qbert as one of our DJ's will be sick.

                                                                  the amazing thing about qbert, is that he never was about all the tricks and dazzle, he can take 2 records and create entirely new music from those two records, and it won't be that choppy shit you hear other dj's create, it will be seamless transitions

                                                                                      and yeah, rectangle sucks nuts live, mostly because all his cd's are done via computer...he can do all the tricks and shit, sure, but most of what you hear on his cd's is layers upon layers of tracks....

                                                                                      i have seen craze like 8 times and he surprises me every time I see him

                                                                                      one thing I love about qbert, he is totally artistic about his music, and even though he does amazing shit with his fingers he still keeps it on a artistic level, which is why some people that love all the tricks and stuff like scratching with your crotch don't dig him

                                                                                                                  Seriously, DJ Qbert will put on an awesome show, and all praises to D$ for consistently putting on incredible shows for all of us to enjoy.

                                                                                                                  In all honesty, as a musician, I am more into musicians than DJs, so I admit that I actually expanded my horizons a little with KPMs posts in this thread...also, as I said, I wasn't trying to get down on him as much as keep this focused on the show that D$ is putting all of the time, effort and money, into producing...

                                                                                                                          I love ALL kinds of music (except new country and classical), everything from bluegrass to punk as long as it comes from the heart and has soul, but seeing someone that is on the level of qbert play is really is cool experience, and I will tell you this, it isn't something you can get from a youtube video

                                                                                                                          I wasn't planning on going to xbiz, but this is enough to make me change my mind completely...a private performance like this is really something that can't be missed

                                                                                                                                                                              Here's my take.

                                                                                                                                                                              I had DJ Domination spin at the 2nd Players Ball I ever threw, in Miami where he is from. He was super cool at that time and cut me a deal to spin for free, I still paid him like $500 anyway.

                                                                                                                                                                              Since then, he stole my Players Ball name and logo and started to promote HIS Players Ball, using the pornstar angle, my logo that I paid good money for and then he took pics from MY Players Ball with Ice-T and the porn stars I had. So basically, he totally ripped me off. Then I hit him up about 3 years ago and told him to take all of that down off his site, he never did. I haven't checked his site in a while because I'm over it. But the dude totally ripped off D$ and my formula of pornstars mixed with it.

                                                                                                                                                                              Also, Ice-T ripped on him during our Players Ball and made fun of him as being "the greatest DJ on the planet". Everytime we needed the DJ to hit a beat for the Big Woody Awards, he was sleeping behind the wheel.

                                                                                                                                                                              Qbert rules, he's one of the best in the world, if not the most talented, musically speaking.

He said over 50 or 100 pornstars would be at HIS Players Ball, none of them were even in town or knew anything about it.

                                                                                                                                                                                  So he's just a small time hustler.

                                                                                                                                                                                  And he threw it while I was in town throwing my private industry event, he was hoping that the word about my Ball being in town would help sell tickets to his party.
