If iraq does not meet u.n. regulations.....
What do you think will be the outcome of US using force against Iraq?
|
I don't think Iraq is going to sit back and let the US walk all over them. The fanatics are sure to do something drastic, and something bad. God knows what Saddam has and what he's willing to let loose on the world.
|
Depends if the US acts alone... in that case think Bush is damned in hell and US will have one hell of a problem on it's hands for many years. This is a dangerous game that is being played out.
|
Regardless of whether the whole world jumps in on Iraq, they're not going to sit back and accept their destruction. They have a different way of fighting to us. They attack our very way of life. Instead of battling us, fighting our military, they'll attack our people, our civilized nature, life as we know it. That's how these fanatics work and that's what will undoubtedly happen if we go off to war.

as long as i dont get fucked bush and saddam can play...

NO! Saddam has made a series of bad decisions for years...
Wait till the US attacks with their super secret weapon...SPAM! Its gonna look something like this: http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~ddgarcia...pamFarSide.gif Be Afraid. Be very afraid. |
Fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity.
|
The UN is worthless. None of these countries do anything, and put down the USA. But the second they need help they come to USA begging for help.
After an onslaught of bombing, and then demoralizing the shit out of them with b-52's, Iraq will fall pretty easy. Hopefully not too much casualties. |
The outcome will depend on how many Muslims see Bush as the aggressor and the US as targets. Not just the Iraqi's because they?ll probably be glad to get rid of him.
A lot of Muslims idolize Saddam, because he shouts at the West and may and I repeat may do more. What he has done is murder over a million Muslims, both Sunni and Shiite. Also Kurds and anyone else he might dislike or distrust. He has waged a war that cost more lives because he used weapons of mass destruction. He has seen hundreds of thousands of his own people starve and die of disease and malnutrition because he thinks he can do what he likes in his own country while the rest of the world has to accept it and trade with him. This is the man some fanatics are ready to die for. How do you fight that thinking Muslims in general idolize the warrior, this come from one of their profits/fighters who conquered a lot of Africa and the Middle East in the name of Allah. I forget his name, but he is held in high esteem. The trouble will come not from Saddam?s army, but from Muslims living in London, New York or Berlin. How do you defend against them? Well ask the Israelis, they have the most practice and all they are up against is a rag bag army. Bush is playing straight into the fanatics leaders hands. Bush is there best friend, they can put up Israel and the treatment of Palestinians, the expected invasion of a Muslim country as reason for these kids to strap bombs around there waist and walk into a crowded shopping center. What Bush should be doing is playing the propaganda game and telling the Muslim world of what the Christian armies did in Balkans to protect Muslims. Getting Israel to give up it?s expansionist regime and force them to the bargain table. Helping and supporting Muslims, then selling it to them. You never win the hearts and minds of people by killing their neighbors. |
heh anyone up for a game of "Risk" ? :thumbsup

I love this theory: "don't fight, they'll fight back!"

The United States is the frickin U.N
We contribute more soldiers, finances, and goods to the U.N than the rest of the U.N combined. |

Ya know... all this whining about what saddam would do is the exact same things people were saying last time. We wiped his ass in a week. If this fucktart is allowed to progress into the nuclear arms race, when he is already an advocate of terrorism then you can whine, because there will be plenty of reason then.

Where did you get educated? The US is not the UN. The US has sat on the outside of the UN for some time now, - it never even paid it's "club membership" for many years until after Sept 11 when it managed to find them and pay damned quick - Reason? It needed something called "support". As far as the US contributing "more".. no, in fact it is the complete opposite. The US contributed the lowest percentage of any Western country.. Until recently this was 2% while others were in the 10%-13% range. Out of embarassment a year ago, this 2% was raised to 4%. Attached to that 4% were "conditions", - one was that it would not, in fact, be raised till 2004. (Note.. most likely after the time Bush is returned to Crawford to look after some cattle). The reason it was raised covered Bush's ass, enabling him to have *some* credibility left to address a conference in Mexico earlier this year to pontificate on the "world's homeless and starving". No.. the United Stats is not, as you may think, the World's Saviour much as some may hold that opinion:Graucho |
Webby,
The UN's diplomats owe New York City almost 200 million dollars in parking violations! As far as I'm concerned they can pack the fuck up and leave!! |
*The UN's diplomats owe New York City almost 200 million dollars in parking violations! As far as I'm concerned they can pack the fuck up and leave!!*
I don't think the "parking violations" in New York has anything to do with the overdue feeds that still remain due to the UN. New York is certainly not the only city with "rogue dimplomats" - small beans. The US actually "wanted" the UN in New York - (for obvious reasons) - you complaing now? |
Typos!
"overdue feeds" sb "overdue fees" - that was some Freudian slip - been in adult far too long:Graucho |
The U.S.' best bet is to overthrow the govt'.. if that's possible.. Capturing Hus. will be impossible unless the U.S. decides to kill lots of civilians in that Hus. hides behind them like a little spineless coward.. He sets up offices in the basements of hotels full of civilians and puts missle launchers in the midst of populated towns..
Unless somone walks up to him and puts a bullet in his head, this could be a major undertaking.. |

We could have taken em out before, but Daddy Bush said no.. His goal was freeing Kuwait and nothing more. Gen. Schwarzkopf wanted to keep going and finish the job, then had to apologize for saying it. |

Glad you see it fit to say that the 200 MILLION owed NYC is small beans. |
ChrisH:
Small beans in relation to the amount still owing to the UN.. Also.. diplomats owning for some "parking violations"?? New York is not the only city with that - why are they still claiming this when there is no hope of getting it? Dimplomats do this shit worldwide, but tis just written off. I have no doubts the CIty of New York has gained more by having the UN there than some owed "fines" for violations. Personally.. I'd prefer to see the UN in a "neutral" country..but tis only my thought! |
Webby,
It is so bad the the Dept of State has told the offending countries that their cars and diplomatic tags will be towed and suspended. The City is in bad fiscal shape after last years attacks and needs the money. |
ChrisH:
Yea.. why not.. might as well kick some ass there *g* I think NY needs the funds it was promised in the aftermath of these attacks... last I heard they were only getting 55cents on the dollar. Ya can't trust anyone these days :-) |
