U.S. court considers death for child rapists
 

Considers ? Fuck I cut his balls off and put salt on the cut.
Then keep him in constant but heavy pain that will last 24-48 hours.
It's a child the guy raped and the count considers ?
It's horiable enough to do it to adults but to children ?
WTF is wrong with the world when judges start to wonder about the type of punishment to give to chil rapist.
Give me 5 minutes with this guy and two electrods.
Pisses me off when children are treated like this.

It ruins the victim's life.

Kill the rapist.

Now on the other hand.. I don't like the idea of killing an innocent person if the court or police fuck up... Which they often do.

I had a friend accused of something like 30 rapes and had nothing to do with them.. 100% innocent.. if he wasn't able to get one of the best lawyers to fight his case and they had the death penality for this stuff.. He an innocent person would have been killed..

If he is guilty, death by torture is even too good for him.

Stick him in a 8x8 cell for the rest of his natural life, occasionally force him to do hard labor that not one of us folk that have proved we can handle the responsibilities that come with freedom want to do, and constantly study him to figure out where society and genetics went wrong in producing that kind of bad apple, imho.

Meanwhile, if by some mathematical absurdity, he's shown to be innocent in the future, we can actually do something about it.

Death is too easy on this guy. I was pretty surprised by the numbers of registered Minor Sex Offenders just within 2 miles of my own place. It was something like 67 people.

Not matter what they sentence a child rapist to, it usually ends up being death. Criminals have kids to.

No need for death penalty, just start putting them in general population with a different colored jumpsuit.

i recently read a story about a guy who had sex with another person in a public restroom, apparently someone walked in on them and reported them to the police. he was convicted of a lewd act and as such a sexual predator, he had to register as a sex offender which means he is listed on those databases. he cannot live anywhere near schools, public parks etc which means he had to move out of his neighborhood, there were only two small areas of the city near los angeles where he could live...
btw, being nude in public could get you in the same kind of trouble..
i am not saying pedos should get off, but there are some huge grey areas...
what in case of a 20 yo having consensual sex with a 17 yo... if she claimed rape to protect her name, then the older girl/guy should be sentenced to death?

Actually it's not so easy in a real life... Look, about 40 years ago in the USSR, our government has sufficiently increased the jail time for rapists (for all of them). And you know what happened after? The rapists started killing their victims. So the number of murders has increased up to 26 (fuckin' twenty six) times!

Course after that the USSR government has turned it back and changed the jail time to the previous level. But during 2-3 years it was a real hell for police - corpses, corpses and corpses...

The main thing we REALLY need to be careful of if we go down this path is: beyond the shadow of a doubt...we have to be absolute sure....
imagine a small town where you get on the bad side of a cop or two...
imagine being accused of crimes so heinous you have a lynch mob at your door before you're even allowed your day in court...

This would be once case where I'd be in favor of waterboarding.

I was actually on the team that says torture the mother fucker not kill him right away.
Killing him right away would be to good and he needs to suffer greatly then put a bullet in his head but not right away.
Make him look at the guy a few minutes so he knows what's coming to him. Then pull the trigger and have him hear CLICK with no bullets inside a few times.
Once he thinks you fucking around and there is no bullet, you pull it with a real live one inside right in his eye.
Now that is fair game.

And what would you suggest instead? Counseling? A time-out perhaps? How about we just have them write on the blackboard a whole bunch of times that they like won't do it again?

I don't know all the answers either, but I do know that in situations such as these there's no way in hell that we should even think about letting the perp(s) see the light of day until after the victim has fully recovered. If that translates into a life sentence, then so be it.

We just had 400+ kids taken from their Mormon parents in Texas due to alleged underage sexual abuse. We have had over a 1,000 priest accused of sexual abuse of our children.

Shall we put these folks to death as well? What about those that covered up the abuses?

I'm so fucking pissed off at all the idiots shouting that it destroys a child's life, that it's the worst thing that can possibly happen, that the victim's childhood is taken away, etc.

Victims are being indoctrinated with the idea that their life has been utterly destroyed. That is NOT a good thing. It reinforces the trauma and destroys hope.

Here's a perfect example of why it's so bad:

Just fucking great. This idiot has just managed to tell victims that it would have been better had they been murdered. I'm sure that'll help them a great deal in dealing with the trauma, and building satisfying lives despite what happened.

In the situations where you're 20 and a 15 y/o looks 18+ and you fuck her and her parents file charges on you... those kind of situations penalties are pretty harsh. I never card a girl before fucking her and if its something like a 18+ bar and she gets in... I should be able to feel safe!

Under our current system it actually costs more - a lot more - to execute these bastards than it does to lock them up forever.

Having said that, I would still favor execution over anything less than a full life sentence.

Execute, but do it with a bullet... Way cheaper and more humane then electricity....

As the majority of child molesters were themselves molested as children...

Why don't you just execute molested children?*

This will save yourselves the time and money thinking, studying and finding a human just and compassionate solution to the problem.

Well if the U.S. court does this they will save money. Processing,feeding, etc. into the criminal system and providing extra security for them once inside costs money...they end up dead anyways.

Seriously the survival rate of a child rapist is slim in jail. Once other inmates learn that a person has done crimes against children it is considered a death penalty...by other inmates. It is a pride among inmates to torture child rapists then perform the most gruesome of deaths...like sausage dicing with a shank or "nut cracking" when they hold down the guy spread eagle then stomp with the heel till explosion :1orglaugh

If they want to do it politically and not get their hands dirty and efficiently executive just announce that this person is a molester to the other inmates when processing them in or better yet have them wear special clothing. :thumbsup
