Seriously, if you had the opportunity to meet/shake hands with ONE influential player in Adult, who would it be??

Is it someone you never see at shows? Someone you've not been able to be introduced to? Someone who just intimidates the hell out of you? :1orglaugh (j/k)

In my ten years working with this business, I've had the privilege and sometimes dubious honor of meeting the people who shaped this industry. Of course there are the old school originators of online adult entertainment of which I think I've met nearly every one at some time or another, and had the opportunity to work with and learn from many if not most.

Beyond those Internet entrepreneurs, there have also been a lot of ambitious and inventive webmasters who've also made their mark. I always look forward to meeting the guys with the new ideas.

But I guess I would have to go back even further if I were to pick one. Meeting Larry Flynt was an occasion for me I'll never forget. He and his lawyer, whom I met on a separate occasion, are part of American history. If I hadn't already met Larry he would be my pick.

So I suppose I would have to agree with Munki. Hugh Hefner is an American icon. I would shake hands with him.

Tough question. I think it is people outside the industry that have more influence than people that actually produce porn.

id love to meet Micheal Klein, always stuck me a really nice and intelligent dude when i met him, never had much time to sit and chat with him in depth though.

there are a few others but mainly i just know what they own and not really WHO they are... id love to hear from the owners of sex.com about their plans. etc.

With the convergence of traditional studios and the online adult community coming together, there are still a number of prominent studio owners that I would love to meet. With the advent of Silver Sinema, I have had the privilege to meet a number of talented leaders in this sector - I do appreciate many of the business minded entrepreneurs the studio side has to offer.

For the online sector, I would like to meet Ester from Epoch :) I have heard some crazy stories about this wild woman! Apparently her and Madonna have had a number of unique nights on the town at the Santa Monica pier. And rumors suggest that her previous boyfriends were Brad Pitt, Justin Timberlake and Borat. Also, I overheard from an epoch source that she turned down Hef for a tasteful expose on her life story and her ongoing fight with the card association to have her home videos to be in compliant :)

Well this might be "off topic" but in a way its "adult related" i think most people i have met, so the one that oozes sex/adult would be MADONNA...........i would say she intimidates the hell out of me :winkwink: Not to mention she kicks ass!
