Dell Monitor
http://www.dealstudio.com/viewtopic.php?t=37945&ru=290
i've been trying to pick out a 20" monitor, and my friend recommend this Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP 20.1" Widescreen LCD Monitor for me, the deal is for only $354. Dell monitor seems look great, but i haven't tried any Dell before, how do you guys think? or any other suggestions? |
Dell's the shit, buy it
|
I love em... Great price, reliable, and usually at least comparable with much more expensive "namebrand" monitor solutions. *Check out the refurb stock at Dell, ridiculous deals there if you catch em at the right time.* |
I have the Dell 30". It kicks ass, better specs than the apple cinema, plus it has the CF reader and USB ports. Only problem is any color managed apps on OS X get fucked up. I can't figure out why. I've spent over 60 hours on the problem and know just about everything there is to know about color management and still can't get the damn thing to display photos correctly in Aperture and Lightroom.

That is expensive.. get it at the outlet.. Costs $249
|
I think i will be contented to my old monitor :):):)

It's still $50 off their listed price and I guess yesterday they were having a sale where it was $80 off. Dell SP2208WFP is the monitor I plan to use on my dual setup. [coming soon] |
Samsung shits all over 'em, sorry.

Dell makes good stuff. But you can find the same or better very often, with a little shopping around.
Check also e-bay. |
Dell is ok... Hope you don´t talk about a CRT (-:

I use a 24" Sony Bravia HDTV as my monitor. I highly recommend them. Hooks right up to the computer, no problem. Great picture and it doubles as my office television. ;)

The 2007WFP actually has a better panel than SP2208WFP in terms of viewing angle and color reproduction. There's nothing in their 22" line that compares. If 20" won't cut it step up to the 24" 2408WFP.

never get anything smaller than a 30

UltraSharp is the best in the market

In my opinion if you are going to spend that much money, why only get a 20 inch? Spend a little more and get a 22 inch minimum. I have a 24 inch, Dell, and I absolutely love it. Granted, you may be under a money crunch... so wait a month.
And surprisingly, good monitors seem to hold their value fairly well. Last spring I sold a Dell 19 inch LCD for $100, I bought it two years prior for probably $300. It was a very quick sale and there was tons of interest, I probably could have got $150. I also have a Hewlett-Packard 20 inch widescreen that I love. It is a little small, but the picture is incredible and the widescreen makes a huge difference when it comes to working with multiple applications at the same time. |
I have 22 inch Dell flat widescreen montiors hooked up here.... Love them to death!
|
They do have quality shit,I like them
|
I have two 19 inch Dell's.. would buy again, never had any issues. Both monitors are a few years old and only one has a single dead pixel.
|
I prefer Samsung LCD monitors.
|
I have a Dell ultrasharp sitting next to a Samsung guess which one I'm reading on right now? Dell simply looks clearer for reading but the samsung is brighter and honestly is better for watching movies and things like that on but for text I just like the dell more.
both 22", the dell was a refurb and has no dead pixels |
That's a bit expensive man, you can get 22" for around $200 if you shop around... for that much, you should be able get a 24" fairly easy...
|
Im buying the refurbished monitor soon
|
Dell is the best :thumbsup

I have two 24" from Dell and they rock. However don't buy it straight up online. ALWAYS call them, they make a deal on the phone. I got mine way cheaper then they were listed on the site and they are new. Not refurbished.
|
If you have the money this monitor will blow you away.
http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/d...libration_XL20 The colors on it are unlike anything you've ever seen. It uses LEDs instead of crappy cold fluorescent as a backlight. Having seen one I would almost say the colors are 50% more vibrant then the best LCD. |
I have a dell ultra sharp bought from guy off of craigslist. I love it.
