Rosarito,Baja, Mexico..whos been there?
Can anyone tell me what Rosarito,Baja, Mexico is like? whats there to do?weather?beach?partying?federales?..thanks:thumb sup

Weather - Very good.
Do? Go to clubs, get drunk, fuck college aged chicks. When? Holidays... If there is nothing going on, there is nothing going on... You can go further south to Ensenada. Go to Papas and Beer. Get there by 11am because the cruise ships deposit their people around then and pick them up around 4pm. After that the locals come to party but their music sucks and so do they... |
i hear the cocaine is top notch

How is the beach there? waves? :helpme |
the beach is more like decoration.... lol
i used to go there all the time when i was 18. we'd party all night in SD and drive over arouns 1am check into our room and party till 6am. the foam parties are a blast just dont wear anything nice it will get dirty. |
Rosarita beach used to be great...now its party haven for 17-23 year olds with rocking LOUD bars all pretty much heavy beat and disco. Cops are still pretty rough there, especially now with what is going on down there.
Ensenada is cool, but in its own way. What are you looking for, and i can help you find the perfect spot. |

I stayed at one of the best hotels overlooking the beach, right in the middle of town, so it was pretty busy. Maybe the beaches outside of town are better. |
Cool spot, get less crazy the further you go in to MX, San Felipe is more my speed now (34, not 21 anymore), cool dunes (ATV's), cool bars, nice beaches, ok hotels (The Marina is nice) not spring break crowds every weekend like Rosarita.

The folks suggestions/comments are pretty spot-on.
Like Christian said, Rosarito is kinda crazy. Myself, being 30, I don't identify with that "RAH RAH" 24-7 crowd that permeates through Rosarito. I much prefer staying down in Ensenada at the "Hotel Coral y Marina" which is a very beautiful resort on the northern outskirts of Ensenada, so it's perfect as a place to stay, then just drive short distances up north (Puerto Nuevo/Rosarito) or further down (Downtown Ensenada/La Bufardora) and yet be able to return to the calm that is the Hotel Coral. Depending on when you go, Puerto Nuevo is known for their awesome fresh-caught Lobsters. Can't wait to to back down there. |
what are you looking for and I am sure I can point you in the right direction...

my grandma used to live down thereand i would go down every summer. it was a great palce to party but now alot of things have changed. the government has changed and alot if fucked up things have happened. i would be careful when you make a trip down there.
|
yeah, just be careful and don't vomit, or piss in public..or even act drunk..and its recommended you go with 3+ friends and don't separate from each other..
|
I lived there for 3 years. Dont waste the money. If you want a nice beach, DONT go there, If you want nice weather, DONT go there, If you want safety, DONT go there. I just left there in Jan.
If you have questions, hit me up. and the line to cross back the the US is a fucking nightmare usually 2 to 4 hours on weekends. Drive to Tijuana Airport, and fly to cancun. ICQ me and we will meet for drinks. |
also hear the county jails out there are 2nd 2 none
